The computer course how to use excel moves on with a video computer lesson showing how to use conditional formatting in excel 2010. The computer tutorial made by gcflearnfree.org shows how conditional formatting allows different ways of highlighting your data. In this computer lesson conditional formatting is demonstrated using an excel spreadsheet with a sales teams monthly sales. Using the conditional formatting tab we can apply a rule showing any sales over 5000, the company target, this will then highlight any sales over the 5000 so we can easily see who has achieved the target.
The video tutorial continues to explain about conditional formatting pre-sets where multiple icons can be used and finishes showing how to manage the conditional formatting rules.
The lesson is suitable for anyone following the course on how to use excel but you will need a basic understanding of excel for this computer lesson.
